It's pretty easy to setup on any device and here's how you do it.
For typing on a computer, you may want to explore silicone keyboard covers. This is an affordable and powerful tool for all languages, but especially in a language like Hebrew that uses completely different characters. I recommend searching for: [Language] keyboard cover [your computer type].
Here’s how to set up typing in your target language, whether you're on a computer, tablet, or phone. This guide covers Spanish, French, and Hebrew, but the steps are nearly identical for other languages too.
🖥 On Desktop or Laptop
Mac (macOS)
Go to System Settings → Keyboard → Input Sources
Click +, then select your language (e.g., Spanish, French, or Hebrew)
Choose your preferred keyboard layout (e.g., Spanish - ISO, Hebrew - QWERTY)
Toggle between keyboards using ⌘ + Space or the language icon in the menu bar
Tip: For accents, hold down a key (like “e”) to choose accented options (é, è, ê). Hebrew doesn’t require special characters—just switch layouts.
Windows 10/11
Go to Settings → Time & Language → Language & Region
Under Preferred Languages, click Add a language
Search for your language and follow the prompts
Use Windows key + Space to switch keyboards
Tip: For Spanish/French accents, you can also use Alt + [numeric code], or install the “US-International” keyboard layout for easier input.
📱 On Mobile Devices
Apple iOS (iPhone/iPad)
Go to Settings → General → Keyboard → Keyboards
Tap Add New Keyboard and select your language
Switch keyboards anytime using the 🌐 icon on your on-screen keyboard
Bonus: Enable "Predictive" and "Auto-Correction" for more natural typing in your target language.
Android (Samsung, Pixel, etc.)
Go to Settings → System → Languages & input → On-screen keyboard → Gboard
Tap Languages → Add Keyboard
Select your target language and layout
To switch keyboards, tap and hold the spacebar or use the globe icon.
📱 On Tablets
Tablet settings usually mirror mobile settings, but here's a quick rundown:
iPad (Apple)
Follows the same steps as iPhone. Go to:
Settings → General → Keyboard → Add New Keyboard
Non-Apple Tablets (Android-based)
Follows the same steps as Android phones.
